Bio
Brandon Harden is a third-year undergraduate student at the University of California, Berkeley, studying political science and legal studies. He is conducting workshops on the intersection of tobacco and social justice for students and research on the enforcement of tobacco advertising regulations in several California counties.
As a 2020 truth ambassador, Harden persuaded his university to adopt a mandatory tobacco-use training module for all freshman and transfer students (approximately 14,000 students). He has worked in tobacco control for nearly six years.
Harden has served on the Truth Initiative board of directors since 2022.
